Who We Are. Faith in the Valley is a multi-faith, multi-racial grassroots coalition of congregations, community members, students and allies in five counties across California’s Central Valley, including Kern, Fresno, Merced, Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties. The organization is led by volunteer leaders impacted by equity issues: people of color, low-wage workers, youth, immigrants, the formerly incarcerated and other vulnerable community members. Our mission is to unlock the power of people to put faith into action in the public square and to advance a movement for racial, economic and environmental justice in our local communities across the Central Valley.
