  • About Us

United Parents and Students (UPAS) is a non-profit organization comprised of parents, students, and community members dedicated to addressing the factors outside school boundaries that not only pose barriers to learning, but also inhibit local quality of life. UPAS serves over 12,000 families in Los Angeles, Memphis, and South King County. The organization supports families in organizing for safer and cleaner streets, more affordable housing, improved supermarket quality, access to credit and more.
