  • About Us

Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael, an egalitarian congregation affiliated with The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, is dedicated to providing a welcoming community that embraces Torah and meaningful worship, lifelong learning, music, Israel, and tikkun olam.

We are an inclusive congregation, welcoming to the broader community of mature couples, singles, “traditional” Jewish families, interfaith families, and gay and lesbian Jews.

We enrich the lives of our congregants by providing an inviting environment for spiritual, educational and social interaction. Joining a synagogue means becoming part of a greater community, creating a sacred bond together in commitment to Judaism and the future of Judaism. Thus, belonging means participating in a two-way venture; the sense of kinship that you will gain, and the opportunity for you to take part in building our TBAY communityThe Early Childhood Program at Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael has created a warm, positive and nurturing environment that enhances our children’s emotional, intellectual, social and physical development. We recognize that every child is unique and allow each child to experiment, explore, create, share and learn at his or her own pace. We have a small student/teacher ratio, with state certified teachers. We are sure that you will agree that the Early Childhood Program at Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael will be a wonderful experience.
