    Opportunity Alabama is an national award-winning nonprofit that serves as the economic development engine for Alabama’s low-income places. Its primary operations consist of running programming to identify and scale real estate investments in underserved communities across Alabama. Our signature program is the Community Growth Accelerator (CGA) program, which is run by our Community Development Director.

    OPAL Advisory is a wholly-owned registered investment adviser subsidiary of OPAL Investments. Its current client is The OPAL Fund, a ~$19M Qualified Opportunity Fund which is deploying capital into impactful CRE projects across Alabama’s 158 Opportunity Zones. During 2022, OPAL intends to raise one or more CRE-focused follow-on funds to The OPAL Fund. Our Director of OPAL Investments manages this network and will tap it in 2022 to source deals and capital.
