  • About Us

Caribbean Volunteer Expeditions (CVE) is a U.S.-based non-profit corporation which does work related to historic preservation on the islands of Caribbean--or "preservation in paradise." CVE takes groups of volunteers to the islands to work on projects needed to maintain the heritage, cultural, and natural resources of the islands. CVE responds to requests for help from national trusts, historical societies, the U.S. National Park Service in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Examples of projects are: site clearing and measured drawings of sugar plantations on St. John; cemetery surveys on St. Kitts; trail clearing and measured drawings on Nevis; surveys of forts on Antigua.
