About Us
FACT is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the children of Union County (NJ) who have multiple needs that include mental health, academic, vocational, social or other needs. Our mission is to help the youth of Union County succeed at home, in school and in the community. We achieve this by engaging families in identifying their needs and include them in developing an Individual Service Plan (ISP). FACT then identifies community agencies that provide the needed services and assists the family in accessing those services. FACT can also purchase non-traditional services that the famly may need such as tutoring, respite care or concrete services. FACT then monitors the progress of the child to certify that the services being delivered are the hightes quality and the goals identified by the family are being achieved.
