  • About Us

We are the only nonprofit community center in the Presidio where no one is turned away due to inability to pay for programs and services. In a remarkable and utterly unique park setting, we inspire people to be healthy though recreation, play, and social connection. We draw on all aspects of the Golden Gate National Park and highlight the incredible inspiration that nature provides in physical health and mental well-being.

We are a resource for San Francisco families, providing programs and social opportunities that make families stronger. With youth programs in over two dozen public schools and throughout the Presidio, we are one of the city’s leading youth development organizations. As part of the YMCA of San Francisco, we have a deep and broad reach throughout all communities in the city and help make the Presidio accessible to all.
