    The Bay Area Youth Agency Consortium (BAYAC), a program of Bay Area Community Resources, is a consortium of 40 community-based agencies that deliver youth development, tutoring, after school enrichment activities, gardening and health education services to youth throughout the Bay Area. BAYAC AmeriCorps recruits, places, supports, and trains approximately 137 full time AmeriCorps Members who commit to a year of service in their communities. BAYAC AmeriCorps collaborates with schools and community based youth agencies to fulfill its mission to serve youth and families in the Bay Area. BAYAC is also committed to the personal and professional development of the AmeriCorps Members.
