Henderson Collegiate primarily serves economically disadvantaged students with 86% of students qualifying for free- or reduced-price meals. The school received the highest state grade possible in NC for 2014-2015, an A+. This is a distinction earned by only 2.8% of all NC public schools.
SCHOOL MISSION:The mission of Henderson Collegiate is to empower students with the academic skills, social experiences, and love of learning necessary for them to shape their own destinies, attend the college of their choice, and become world-changing problem solvers.
