Wethersfield Academy for the Arts

The Wethersfield Academy for the Arts is an art school for adult and youth learners. The Academy embraces several art disciplines where students, working directly with professional artists, are guided and encouraged to develop their unique gifts and talents. We provide opportunities for the novice through the professional to participate in art classes, workshops, and lectures to enrich their knowledge and skills. The Academy was founded to preserve and promote the arts in the finest classical traditions. Oil Painting classes take place in our Northern light atelier. Classes are offered year round, day and evening, in our historic, refurbished barns with a view of the cove, located just a few minutes away from charming Main Street in Old Wethersfield.
