Since 1980, Self-Help has provided $3.5 billion in financing to over 40,000 small businesses, nonprofits, and homebuyers. Our lending and advocacy efforts have benefited people and communities not only in North Carolina but also nationwide. Self-Help operates from regional offices in Asheville, Charlotte, Durham, Fayetteville, Greensboro, Greenville, Wilmington and Wilson, as well as in Washington, D.C.
