  • About Us

Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) is a non-profit, interfaith organization whose mission is to provide emergency assistance to low-income working Atlantans to help prevent homelessness and hunger during periods of crisis.

We provide assistance with rent, utilities, food, clothing and transportation for work. In 2016, we helped in over 6,900 emergency situations and provided over $446,00 in assistance. We rely heavily on volunteers, and last year logged over 7,000 service hours.
