    The Task Force on Family Violence of Milwaukee provides advocacy, education, and access to services to empower people to lead lives free from domestic violence.

    Our programs includes: Courthouse Advocacy Program to help victims file civil protective orders. Legal Emergency Assistance Program, a partnership with Legal Action of Wisconsin, to help victims access resources, including lawyers. Children's Advocacy Program, for protective parents of children who have witnessed abuse or been abused, also a partnership with Legal Action. Ending Violence through Education, a partnership with Alma Center, to provide comprehensive services to a family when the abuser seeks treatment. Developing additional services in health care and for children who have witnessed domestic violence.
