    HCCE is a 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization focused on creating equitable, healthy Hudson Valley communities and natural spaces. We pursue environmental justice by helping revitalize diverse neighborhoods, cities, and towns through organizing and building community gardens and open spaces, cleaning up polluted and degraded areas, and similar projects. 

    MISSION: HCCE promotes environmental justice and environmental stewardship by investing in the well-being of Hudson River Valley communities through education, action, and advocacy.  

    VISION:Equitable, healthy Hudson communities and natural spaces

    OBJECTIVES: 

    1) To educate the public about the necessity of preserving, protecting, and restoring the Hudson River Valley and its associated communities

    2) To directly address environmental justice issues in the Hudson River Valley and its associated communities

    3) To provide and support innovative environmental programs relevant to the Hudson River Valley and its associated communities

    4) To advocate for environmental action including protection, restoration, and preservation relevant to the Hudson River Valley and its associated communities
