About Us
The Positive Planet Foundation was founded by Jacques Attali in 1998 and has helped 11 million people in 42 countries. Today, the mission of the new US team is to serve the needs of future entrepreneurs and job seekers in marginalized communities in the US and beyond. We provide guidance and tools such as financial education, vocational training, access to financing, and monetary support. Our goal is to help people achieve financial independence and break the chains of poverty through promoting a positive economy. Positive Planet in the US contributes to the United Nations’ 2030 agenda for sustainable development and in promoting and encouraging gender equality and equal opportunity and inclusion for all, without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion.
