    Develop Boeung Kak Art is an association born in 2014; its goal is to breathe new life inBoeung Kak’s neighborhood, that has been so damaged after the lake was silted up in 2008. At its beginning the association sets up a collective cleaning of the streets and then undertook to boost the district with art events organization. The point of the work in the streets of Boeung Kak is to use arts as a way to develop the borough and arouse curiosity and engender solidarity. It is also to make its inhabitants sensitive about their environment so they can have a better lifestyle. Boeung Kak is today considered as the artistic expression platform for young Cambodians and Southeast Asians.
