    Goodwill of Greater Washington trains, educates, employs and places people with disadvantages and disabilities, creating a stronger workforce and a more vital community, while building dignity for the people we serve through the removal of barriers to personal success.

    The mission of the Goodwill Excel Center Public Charter High School is to transform adult lives through the power of achieving a high school diploma and accessing post- secondary education and careers in growing, sustainable local industries. Opening in August, 2016, The Goodwill Excel Center will be the first adult charter high school in the District that awards industry recognized certifications and high school diplomas to adult learners in the District of Columbia.
