  • About Us

Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) delivers comprehensive, high-quality free medical services, dental care, behavioral healthcare, and prescription medications to 5,000 individuals and families among the working uninsured in the Chester County region. Services are provided by over 400 volunteers who donate their time and professional services. Area healthcare institutions contribute diagnostic services and care that cannot be offered in a primary care setting. Local foundations, companies, and individuals contribute 100 percent of CVIM’s revenue. Beyond providing direct care that improves the health of the overall community, CVIM is an expression of our highest ideals as a society: compassion and equity for everyone.
