Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism

  • About Us

The Berkeley J-School offers a two-year, Master of Journalism program that allows students to gain both reporting and technical skills for print, broadcast, and online media. We encourage "cross-training" in our program; people with print backgrounds come to our school and fall in love with radio, photojournalists arrive to discover a real passion for producing multimedia packages. We encourage exploration and versatility, and consider journalistic integrity and objective reporting to be the foundation for everything we teach.
