    The mission of the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (BOEDC) is to assist existing Bronx based businesses to expand and to encourage additional businesses to start-up and/or relocate to Bronx County. In fulfilling this mission, BOEDC seeks to maximize employment opportunities for Bronx residents. BOEDC also manages the Bronx Initiative for Energy and the Environment, working with businesses and building owners to reduce energy usage and utilize environmental technologies to reduce the environmental issues facing the Bronx.
