Hispanic Multi-Purpose Service Center (HMPSC) is a community-based and community operated social service organization committed to the social, and economic progress of the residents of Paterson, Passaic County and State of New Jersey.
HMPCS provides free social and educational services such as AIDS/HIV prevention and education, Utility and Rental Assistance, Family Information and Referrals, Youth and Family Services, and Crisis Intervention. Other programs include Employment Services, mentoring, a Transitional Housing for Single Women and their children, and a Youth Drop In Center for at risk youth. Also, the Center provides food assistance to low-income people and homeless facing hunger in the area by distributing donated food and grocery products.
