    Genesis Club is a nationally recognized rehabilitative community dedicated to supporting adults recovering from serious mental illness. Founded in 1988 by a small group of citizens committed to helping their adult friends and family members manage the challenges associated with mental illness, the mission is to support recovery through attaining employment, education, health/wellness, and decent housing and genuine sense of purpose and belonging. Genesis Club utilizes the highly successful Clubhouse International rehabilitation model and is Accredited by and a charter member of Clubhouse International. Genesis Club is one of only 12 international training centers and has trained over 250 Clubhouses from 30 states and 15 countries since 1991.
