  • About Us

The goals of the Washington DCJCC are to preserve and strengthen Jewish identity, heritage, tradition and values through a wide variety of social, cultural, recreational and educational programs and services including a full day Preschool and professional Cultural Arts programming.

In particular, the Washington DCJCC is recognized as the first JCC in the country to commit volunteer time, energy and money to provide extensive direct social services to people in need in the DC community. Through the Morris Cafritz Center for Community Service, the Washington DCJCC is able to address the critical needs in our community. Every week, every month, every year, our volunteers provide a variety of social services to the Jewish and non-Jewish communities in the best philanthropic tradition of Judaism.
