Community Foodscapes

  • About Us

    Mission

We are a socially-conscious edible landscaping company serving Atlanta by empowering people from all backgrounds to grow food, restore native habitats, and become environmental stewards of their communities.

    A Bit of History

Community Foodscapes was initially formed as a garden consultation and landscaping company. The organization has now expanded by managing community gardens, a fruit tree nursery on Memorial Drive, and the Edible Neighborhood program.

    CoFo’s Founder

Mike McCord is a Permaculture Designer, Certified Arborist, Georgia Certified Landscape Professional, and holds a Bachelor's of Science in Agriculture from UGA. Mike worked with Trees Atlanta for over 5 years and managed the Urban Food Forest at Browns Mill, the largest publicly-owned food forest in the nation.
