  • About Us

CWDA is dedicated to promoting the self-reliant development of disadvantaged Cambodian communities, and to the advancement of women's and children's rights. CWDA seeks to empower women through collective organisation, personal development, skills training, access to resources, and advocacy on their behalf. CWDA facilitates the active participation of grassroots women in awareness-raising activities on women's issues, creating favourable local environments for women's forums and activities. Research and advocacy projects are also undertaken in support of specific objectives regarding the protection of women's and children's rights.

CWDA’s current activities focus on community self-prevention against human trafficking, women’s literacy, HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention and vocational training for disadvantaged young women.
