  • About Us

The Lehigh Conference of Churches is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and the only social services organization in the Lehigh Valley to operate a holistic continuum of care designed to meet basic human needs: food, a roof overhead, dignity, a sense of belonging and hope for the future. Our mission is simple: We help families and individuals maximize their independence and reach their full potential. Partnering with local peer organizations, we aim to achieve the best possible outcome for each individual or family.

This is accomplished through the following programs:

Our Ecumenical Soup Kitchen opens its doors three days a week to anyone who hungers for nourishment and an hour of warmth, sociability and acceptance.

The Daybreak program provides a family to those who have none, serving in treatment for mental illness, substance abuse and HIV/AIDS, as well as elderly living in crushing poverty.

Our HOPE program offers support to homeless adults dealing with mental illness and substance abuse.

Pathways Housing Services connects those in need to a wide variety of available services—all in one place. We educate people about housing options, offer referral information and help with day-to-day needs.

We seek to unite our community by coordinating Christian unity, interfaith engagement and social justice and advocacy.
