    Jacob’s Pillow is America’s premier dance festival, and now a National Historic Landmark. Founded by dance pioneer Ted Shawn in the 1930s, the Pillow today is renowned not only for producing a premier Festival, but also for its professional School, intern program, Archives of rare holdings, artist residencies, and year-round community programs.

    The Jacob's Pillow Mission: To support dance creation, presentation, education and preservation; and to engage and deepen public appreciation for and support for dance.
