Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada and the St. Vincent’s Programs

Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is dedicated to easing the pain of poverty and changing lives for good. We help people of all cultures and beliefs rise up out of poverty and overcome the barriers to self-sufficiency. We do this through a broad range of services, including helping people with food resources, affordable housing, clothing, and other basic needs. In 2015, we provided more than 500,000 direct human needs services to people throughout Northern Nevada.

Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada has been serving individuals and families for 75 years. While we are affiliated with the Diocese of Reno, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is a separately-incorporated 501(c)3 nonprofit agency. We are independent, self-funded, and operate under the leadership of our executive director, who serves at the pleasure of our volunteer board of trustees, made up of business and community leaders from the areas we serve.

We are part of the nation's largest social-services network through our affiliation with Catholic Charities USA, which serves more than seven million people each year.
