North Country School and Camp Treetops (a small co-educational boarding school and summer camp serving children in 4th through 9th grade) strives to create a community for childhood that gives children the self-confidence, knowledge, skills, and values to lead satisfying and productive lives while contributing to their world. Here in the mountains of Lake Placid, New York, we have created a community for childhood. Knowing that children grow best in a natural environment where learning and being are intertwined, North Country Treetops strives for a way of life that nurtures resiliency, embraces the academic disciplines, and develops inner values of the spirit.
