    The Friends of Land Between the Lakes is a non-profit organization whose mission is to work with public and private stakeholders to educate, improve, promote, conserve and provide stewardship for the Land Between Lakes (LBL) National Recreational Area. LBL is 170,000-acre expanse of public land managed by the U.S. Forest Service in western Kentucky and Tennessee. The Friends of LBL assists with educational activities, volunteer activities, funds development, promotions, and more.
