The Latin American Cultural Center of Queens, Inc. is a comprehensive, countywide, incorporated, nonprofit organization. LACCQ’s mission is to maintain, promote and support Hispanic art and culture while meeting the cultural needs of the Latino communities of Queens. To create a greater understanding and harmony among the diverse communities in the borough, the Center also builds cross-cultural and cross-disciplineconnections with other ethnic communities, aswell as cultural and educational organizations.
We meet this goals through high quality arts in education and cultural experiences which are free and open to the general public. Some of theseprograms are: Career in the Visual Arts, ESL & U.S. Citizenship Courses, Sunday to Remember- a recreational and supportive program for families, and Special Events including celebrations of Hispanic Heritage Month, Women’s History Month, Mother’s Day, Las Posadas, and Three Kings
