    Founded in 2000, the Blue Water Task Force is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) headquartered in Big Sky, Montana and operating on behalf of the Upper Gallatin Watershed. Our vision is a community that protects and preserves the health of the Gallatin River watershed. To attain that vision, our mission is to promote public stewardship of aquatic resources in the Gallatin River watershed through community education, citizen involvement in water quality monitoring, scientific data collection, and watershed restoration.
