    The Environmental Health and Safety Group is responsible for developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive environmental and occupational health and safety (EOHS) management program for NYU Medical Center. The EOHS program is focused primarily on hazards in the Medical Center's hospitals, research labs, and construction and maintenance operations. The program addresses a broad spectrum of issues including biological hazards and wastes, chemical hazards and wastes, asbestos, indoor air quality, fire safety, noise, and other safety issues.
