    Established in 1923, the Yale University School of Nursing was the first school of nursing to be based in a university. Since that time, YSN has enjoyed an international repuation for excellence in education, research, and clinical practice. Our MSN program prepares nurse practitioners, nurse-midwives, and clinical nurse specialists in multiple specialties, and our PhD program prepares nurse scientist to teach and conduct clinical research. We are a diverse community of scholars all endeavoring to assure "better health care for all people."
