UP Academy Oliver

At UP Academy Oliver, we believe that our rigorous, academically-focused curriculum and our supportive school environment will provide your children with the world-class education that they​ ​​​deserve.  We are deeply committed to our mission to ensure that all students acquire the knowledge, skills, and strength of character necessary to succeed on the path to college and achieve their full potential.  To achieve this mission we provide:

High academic expectations. Every class and each assignment is designed to prepare students for success in college preparatory high schools and beyond.

An extended school day. UP Academy Oliver’s doors open at 7:30am and academic classes end at 3:30pm on Mondays-Thursdays and 1:20pm on Fridays. Friday afternoons are a time for staff to convene, learn, and grow together. Every minute of our school day is designed to maximize instructional time in core subject areas and provide opportunities for arts, fitness, and character education.

A safe, orderly learning environment. Our calm and professional school environment prepares students for learning.  

Supports for all learners. UP Academy Oliver provides comprehensive supports for all learners, including special education students and English language learners. Our school employs whole-school and individualized supports to catch struggling students before they fall behind, including daily tutoring and differentiated academic interventions to help students build foundational English and math skills.
