  • About Us

The Cultural Agents Initiative fosters creative practices that make measurable contributions to society. We identify constructive uses of art and multiply them through training in best strategies and through humanistic reflection on those strategies in public life. The Cultural Agents Initiative recognizes creativity as a human faculty and we value the variety of cultures as expressions of creativity and as foundations for resourceful and flexible citizens. By promoting collaborations among scholars, artist-activists, and community leaders we forge dynamic interactions between educational institutions and the wider community that explore and expand art as a social resource.
