About Us
Hale Barnard Services is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization headed by a volunteer board of directors. The board is committed to providing cost effective quality services to older people, especially those with limited resources or special needs.
In addition to licensed residential care at Hale House, Hale Barnard provides programs and services to elders of diverse cultures who live independently in the community. One such program is the Budget Management Program which provides trained and insured volunteers to help elderly persons organize their finances and pay their bills. Another is the Back Bay Club at Hale House offering retired persons in the community a place to socializee over lunch, take day trips or play chess.
