Genocide Survivors Support Network (GSSN) is a US-based nonprofit organization founded by Eugenie Mukeshimana, a survivor of the 1994 Genocide Against Tutsis in Rwanda. Our mission is to help Genocide Survivors rebuild their lives and use their voice to contribute to the global efforts for Genocide Prevention through education
What We Do
GSSN provides a rapid integrated support system to immigrant survivors to facilitate access to community resources, building a foundation to help them adjust to the new environment and become productive members of the society.
GSSN contributes to global efforts for genocide prevention through academic lectures, professional development training for teachers and service providers, as well as through community discussion forums and events.
