Venus de Miles

Venus de Miles is an all-women bike race that supports Greenhouse Scholars. Greenhouse Scholars is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive personal and financial support to high-performing, under-resourced college students. Venus de Miles is the main revenue source for this Greenhouse Scholars. Our volunteers are the backbone of our event – and we are looking for a lot of additional help this year.

The event takes place August 26, 2012 in Longmont and various volunteer positions are needed. Every volunteer will receive a Venus t-shirt, free gourmet lunch and cocktails (if you are 21) at the festival, and entry into our monthly volunteer-only raffles. If you get five people to sign-up under your team, you'll receive a sweet Venus de Miles Polar Bottle (valued at $20). If you get ten people to sign-up, you'll receive a pair of Zeal Optics sunglasses (valued at $100.) If you want to volunteer, click the link and sign-up!

Of course if you want to ride in the race, you can register to ride. If you are a student you can take $10 off the registration fee with the student discount code chiath10. We are always looking for more ladies or men-in-drag(they ride free of course!).
