Touro University Occupational Therapy + Physical Therapy

  • About Us

Interested in a career in occupational or physical therapy? Earn your degree at Touro's School of Health Sciences, where you'll find hands-on clinical education taught by expert faculty who are active practitioners in the field. Our small class sizes and dedicated mentorship ensure you are ready for professional success. Plus, we have two accessible locations in Times Square, NYC, and Central Islip, Long Island

Occupational therapy (OT) helps people of all ages manage everyday activities and better support participation in their roles at home, the workplace, and other settings. Becoming an OT allows you to help others help themselves, and make a real impact on your patients’ daily lives.

Our three-year Occupational Therapy Program is a dual degree — you’ll earn your BS in Health Sciences and your MS in Occupational Therapy at the same time. Gain valuable clinical experience with rewarding fieldwork and community service opportunities. You’ll be well prepared to pass the national board exams and start your career.

In our Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, we train physical therapists who are as compassionate as they are capable. If that's what you're looking for, explore our DPT degree program and learn you can become a highly-skilled, sought-after physical therapist who provides hands-on patient care. With a robust clinical education, our DPT students specialize in movement and movement dysfunction, and prepare for licensure.

In three years, you will graduate with a duel degree Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy. You will then be eligible and well prepared to sit for the CAPTE (Commission of Accreditation in Physical Therapy)
