    Boston University is the 4th largest private, not-for-profit, residential research university in the US, with over 35,000 students and annual revenue in excess of $3 billion. Established in 1869, the University offers a breadth of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs through its 17 Schools and Colleges and more than 300 fields of study. In a continuing effort to enrich its academic environment and provide equal educational and employment opportunities, Boston University actively encourages applications from members of all groups underrepresented in higher education.     The $3+ billion Boston University Endowment Portfolio is diversified across a variety of asset classes and investment strategies. The Boston University Investment Office, formed in 2007, along with the Investment Committee of the University’s Board of Trustees, is charged with managing the University’s pooled long-term endowment assets for the current and future support of operations and with preserving the long-term purchasing power of the Endowment.
