    • About Us

    The New York Graduate School of Psychoanalysis, a branch of the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis, offers the Master of Arts in Psychoanalysis.

    The program is designed to meet the needs of two types of students:

    • Those who are seeking graduate-level study of psychoanalysis as an academic pursuit
    • Those coming from undergraduate programs or from other fields who are seeking graduate-level instruction in psychoanalytic theory and human development to prepare them to enter formal psychoanalytic training

    Financial assistance is available through the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). Students are also eligible to apply for subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford Loans.

    Students who receive the Master of Arts in Psychoanalysis are eligible for advanced placement in the licensure-qualifying psychoanalytic training program of the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies.

    The New York Graduate School of Psychoanalysis is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges as a branch campus of the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis.
