    The Center for Intercultural Education and Development (CIED) fulfills Georgetown University's commitment to international education and service.

    The Center designs and implementsexecutive education and technical training programs for people and organizations from around the world. Our goal is to empower people to promote greater mutual understanding, strengthen democratic values, and support sustainable development.

    CIED has the breadth and depth to custom-design short- and long-term training programs and workshops on virtually any topic of interest to governments, private enterprise, universities, and non-profit organizations. The dedicated professionals at CIED draw upon deep knowledge and logistical skills to tailor each program to the needs of our clients and funders.
