    The Coalition for Economic Survival (CES), a grassroots community organization, founded in 1973 for the purpose of uniting people throughout the Los Angeles area to fight for economic and social justice, with a focus on securing and defending tenants' rights, and preserving affordable housing. CES is committed to actively opposing any type of prejudice or discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, age, religion, disability or sexual orientation.
