About Us
Colorado Preservation Inc promotes historic preservation by providing information, education, training, expertise, and advocacy. CPI partners with historic property owners, non-profit organizations, educators, and local governments thorughout the Rocky Mountain region.
HistoriCorps™, a partnership program of CPI, promotes hands-on public involvement in the restoration and preservation of historic places and structures on our public lands through the engagement and mobilization of volunteers, student learning groups, youth training programs and organizations interested in historic preservation. HistoriCorps™ is a partnership between two key nonprofit organizations as well as with federal, state and local land management agencies, primarily the USDA Forest Service, National Park Service and the Bureau of Land Management.
