    The Smithsonian National Zoological Park is seeking an intern with a passion for conservation and an interest in helping to save some of the world’s most endangered and beloved species.

    As part of the Smithsonian’s first-ever Institution-wide capital campaign, the Zoo is raising $80 million to upgrade its facilities to meet the highest standards of animal care, bring iconic species such as the giraffe and penguin to the Zoo, expand its conservation biology research initiatives that are saving animals and habitats in over 30 countries, and help train the next generation of conservationists.
