    Established in 1946, United Way of Greater Baytown (TX) Area & Chambers County (UWGBACC) serves Baytown and Highlands in east Harris County, and all of Chambers County. Its Mission is to develop, promote and support solutions designed to meet targeted community needs, based on the Vision of a community where everyone achieves full potential through education, financial well-being and health. Fundraising campaigns have exceeded $3 million since 2011-2012. UWGBACC supports and collaborates with more than 20 agencies and community partners to invest in about 45 programs that target Kindergarten readiness, school-aged children, strengthening families, senior adults and people with disabilities, basic needs, and financial stability.
