    The Brooklyn Family Defense Project (BFDP), an office of Legal Services NYC, represents low-income parents in child welfare cases in Brooklyn Family Court. BFDP’s lawyers, social workers, and parent advocates are committed to providing high quality legal representation in an interdisciplinary setting. BFDP’s mission is to advocate strongly on behalf of parents’ rights while promoting access to benefits and services that enable low-income families to remain safe and stable.
