  • About Us

Slice is a nonprofit print literary magazine that aims to pave a space for outstanding writers who do not have a platform because we believe their writing could be the substance of great works in the future. In order to do this, we publish fiction, nonfiction, and poetry by emerging writers alongside some of today’s most respected literary legends to give those new authors the opportunity to have their work read by a large audience. Featured contributors from past issues include Junot Diaz, Jonathan Galassi, Steve Almond, Adrian Tomine, and C.K. Williams. Upcoming authors for our Fall/Winter ‘08 issue include Salman Rushdie and Nam Le.
