Organization

Founded in 2003, the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians seeks to open doors of economic opportunity for work authorized immigrants. By doing so, we enhance the economic development of the city and the state. Our organization believes that immigrants strengthen the productivity, profitability and stability of this region and contribute to Pennsylvania’s and the nation’s economic growth.

Mission and Values

WCNP is devoted to immigrant integration and economic development through education and training, employment and entrepreneurship. Individuals who work at Welcoming Center need to be enthusiastic about with working in a setting of diverse individuals and with a staff of diverse talents. Staff need to be comfortable with ambiguity, able to be nimble and adaptable to change. We are seeking self-starters with a strong work ethic, the ability to ask questions and demonstrate on a daily basis the passion to work as a team to support our participants.
